Position Summary:
Responsible for the operation and driving of DTC vans and SUVs and the safe transportation of students and other passengers.
All applicants must be at least 21 years old; have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. DTC offers split-shift opportunities that work well with other careers! Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive school vans to safely transport school pupils between pick-up points and schools over specified routes according to a specified time schedule.
- Comply with local traffic regulations.
- Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
- Report delays or accidents.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a school van driver. Work involves driving vans and assisting passengers in a variety of driving and weather conditions. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening driving assignments.
Compensation: $19.25 - $20.90 per hour
